It was our second year back at the National Stationery Show in New York and we can honestly say that it was just as much fun as the first time! We love seeing all of the new product and catching up with all of the friends we made at the show last year. This year started just like the last… with a quick stop at Starbucks before the show. The long line of people waiting for their caffeine fix hasn’t changed from the previous year, but we did score a few extra bags of dried fruit for our oatmeal at no charge, which was a total bonus and a good sign that we were off to a good start! (Side note: if you haven’t had the oatmeal at Starbucks, stop what you’re doing and go get some.. it is the perfect size and comes with a variety of toppings! Yum! And, no, Starbucks did not pay me to say that.)
To sum it up, the show was amazing and we already can’t wait for next year! There was a lot of fun, witty product at the show this year and we found a new stationery line that we fell in love with at first sight. They offer great designs for personal stationery that can be done using letterpress or flat printing. We can’t wait for their album to arrive!
Also, how cool are these mini notecards?!
We think everyone should have a vintage vending machine that dispenses awesome mini-sized greeting cards. So fun!
Ombre is still a big trend and it kept popping up in most of the booths. There were a lot of cool new twists using the ombre color effect and we will end with one of our favorites for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
